Northern Tier Sports ReportSOUTH WILLIAMSPORT — Wyalusing softball lost to top seed, South Williamsport, 15-0 in four innings during District IV, Class AA quarterfinal action Friday.
The Mounties took a 1-0 lead in the second, then scored four more in the third.
The flood gates opened in the fourth with a 10-run inning.
The Rams were held hitless in the contest as Emily Johns reached on an error, and Rachel Wilson on a fielder’s choice.
Kylie Pickett got the start, and took the loss, going 2-innings with two walks, five hits, and four runs.
Addison Fluck went 1 1/3-innings with tow walks, three strikeouts, and 11 runs.
Wyalusing finished the season 10-11.
