Ayres would tie the game up with a Champluvier sacrifice fly.
Northwest was close to breaking the tie in the third but Troy got the final out when a Ranger was caught heading home.
Then in the fifth Bellows led off with a hit. After out outs Ridall had the game winner to send Troy through to the semifinals.
