THE WEEK AHEAD: BIG SEMIFINAL GAMES FOR NEB, TROY SOFTBALL (May 26, 2024)

Two area softball teams take the stage as Troy and NEB look to break through the district semifinals Tuesday, and onto a district final. If one or both win the final will be on Thursday back at Elm Park.

SOFTBALL

Tuesday, May 28

NEB vs Muncy at Elk Park, 3 p.m.: NEB is coming off a big road win over CV in the quarters, while Muncy topped a pesky Williamson team 6-2. Muncy defeated NEB in the semifinals last year.

Troy vs South Williamsport at Elm Park, 5 p.m.: Immediately following the first game. Troy eked out a 3-2 win over Northwest in the quarters while South rolled past Wyalusing, 15-0. South held on to beat Troy in last year’s semifinal in a nail-biter.
