YOUTH: TROY MAJORS BASEBALL FALLS TO ALLEGHENY MOUNTAIN (2024-07-01)

TROY — Troy Majors All-star baseball suffered a season ending loss to Allegheny Mountain, 13-2, in District 15 consolation bracket action Monday.

Allegheny used three big innings to put up 13 runs, scoring four in the first, seven in the third, and two in the fifth. Troy scored two in the top of the third.

Blaine Fish (2-for-2) had a triple with Wyatt Judson (1-for-1) and Owen Watson scoring their two runs. Larry Dean drove in two runs.

Blake Putnam (1-for-2), and Wyatt Vinson (1-for-2) also had hits.

Dean started, and went 2 1/3-innings with three strikeouts. Vinson pitched for two-thirds of an inning with one strikeout, while Putnam pitched the final 1 2/3-innings with two strikeouts.
