SUNBURY — The Towanda Majors All-star softball team lost to Montoursville, 10-0 in four innings, during sectional action Wednesday.

Montoursville opened with five runs in the first inning and scored every at bat.

Emma Bride (1-for-1) had the lone Towanda hit while Taylor Aquilio drew two walks.

Kinley Thoman started, going 1 1/3-innings with three strikeouts. Adaleigh Jankowsky tossed the next 2 2/3-innings with two strikeouts.

Towanda returns to Sunbury Thursday as they look to stay alive in consolation play.
