NTL CROSS-COUNTRY: TOWANDA'S LARSON HAS TOP 10 FINISH AT CLIFF ROBBINS (2024-08-31)
Northern Tier Sports ReportDALLAS — Izzy Larson paced the Towanda girls’ cross-country team at the Cliff Robbins Invitational on Saturday.
Larson (20:56) took sixth overall followed by Mary-Kate Eberlin (22:07) in 15th and Kenzie Brown (22:33) in 19th. Leila Cobb (25:14) was 57th, and Hannah Petty (25:25) rounded out their top five in 59th.
On the boys’ side Jack Tavani (18:01) was 14th, as Boom Thompson (18:36) and Jacob Carr (18:55) were 25th and 28th. Hagen Jones (19:58) took 58th, and Jackson Frederick (20:26) came in 71st.
Emmett Klees (11:22) won the junior high boys’ race as teammate Brayden Cox (11:44) came in fifth. On the girls’ side Maris Cobb (12:31) took first, as well.
Towanda will travel to Athens for their first NTL dual meet on Tuesday.
