NTL VOLLEYBALL: CANTON REACHES QUARTERS AT WILLIAMSON TOURNAMENT (2024-09-07)

TIOGA JUNCTION — Canton volleyball went 5-4 as they reached the quarterfinals at the Williamson Tournament Saturday.

In pool play they swept Sayre (25-14, 25-17) and Northern Potter (25-16, 27-25) before falling to Troy (25-21, 26-24). In their final pool play match split with Williamson (25-19, 23-25).

In bracket play they were defeated by NEB (25-11).

Addi Pepper had 24 points, four aces, five kills, 40 assists, and 19 digs as Cailyn VanNoy added 30 points, four aces, 13 kills, one assist, and 14 digs.

Tara Gilbert had 20 points, 10 kills, 13 digs, four aces, and an assist, with Kendall Kitchen getting 16 points, two aces, three kills, three assists, and 51 digs.

Makenna Sechrist notched 26 points, four aces, seven kills, four digs, and four blocks, as Danah Wesneski finished with 15 points, three aces, 11 kills, and 23 digs.

Adelynn Cardona added three kills with a block as Ally Marker had two digs.
