NTL CROSS-COUNTRY: LARSON LEADS TOWANDA TO TRI-MEET SWEEP AGAINST TROY, WYALUSING (2024-09-17)
Northern Tier Sports ReportTROY — Led by Izzy Larson’s first place finish Towanda earned dual meet wins over Wyalusing and Troy in NTL girls’ cross-country action to stay undefeated Tuesday.
The Knights defeated Wyalusing 23-32 and Troy 19-44, while the Rams topped Troy 20-42.
Larson (20:59) won the race with Troy’s Alyssa Parks (21:33) in second. Rounding out the top three was Towanda’s Mary-Kate Eberlin (22:25).
Also for the Knights Kenzie Brown (23:34) was fifth, Hannah Pretty (25:02) came in seventh, and Leila Cobb (26:39) rounded out their top five in 11th.
Megan King (23:04) led the Rams with a fourth place finish while Riley Porter (24:42) took sixth. Wyalusing then went 8-through-10 with Camryn Gesford (25:31), Laina Beebe (26:10), and Marci Gowin (26:35).
For Troy Kalyn Keltz (32:00) was 16th, and Sheridan Wilcox (34:55) came in 18th.
