NTL GIRLS' SOCCER: DUNN'S GOAL LEADS TOWANDA PAST WELLSBORO (2024-09-18) Northern Tier Sports Report WELLSBORO — Anna Dunn punched in a goal with under three minutes left in the game as Towanda edged Wellsboro, 1-0, in NTL girls’ soccer action Tuesday.
The Hornets had an 11-10 edge in shots with Towanda earning a 5-2 advantage in corner kicks. Mya Maynard had eight saves in net to get the clean sheet for the Knights.
This is Towanda’s (3-4) third straight win, and they’ll look to level up their record when they travel to Williamson on Thursday with a 4 p.m. start.
