NTL GOLF: THOMPSON SHOOTS 77 TO LEAD TOWANDA AT SHEPARD HILLS (2023-09-18)

WAVERLY, N.Y. — Towanda’s Boom Thompson went sub-80 to lead the Knights to a fourth place finish at the NTL match at Shepard Hills.

Towanda (347) was two strokes behind Wyalusing (345) to take fourth with Athens (318) clinching the NTL title. NPM (333) was second, Wellsboro (353) was fifth, CV (376) came in sixth, and Sayre (468) was seventh.

Thompson carded a 77 with a match high 11 pars, plus a birdie on the par-4 10th hole.

Graham Welles carded an 85, Lucas Vincent and Baylee Clark both notched a 90, Owen Lane had a 95, and Tommy Bowen finished with a 107.

Izzy Repsher shot a 110 to lead the Lady Knights with a birdie on the par-5 fifth hole. Payton Perry carded a 1110, and also had a birdie on the par-5 ninth whole.

Clara Glantz had 127, Rosie Glantz and Maggie Glantz each carded 137,and Maddy Snell finished with a 170.
