NTL GOLF: WYALUSING HAS BEST LEAGUE FINISH AT SHEPARD HILLS (2024-09-18)

WAVERLY, N.Y. — Wyalusing had three golfers break 90 as they had their best finish of the season in an NTL match, taking third at Shepard Hills.

The Rams scored 345 strokes, just two ahead of Towanda (347), with Athens (318) winning to clinch the league title. NPM (333) was second, Wellsboro (353) took fifth, CV (376) was sixth, and Sayre (468) came in seventh.

Hunter House shot 82 to lead Wyalusing with Lucas Girven carding 84, and Connor Smith scoring 85. Myles Kershner shot 94, Jacob Girven had 100, and Ashton VandeMark finished with a 94.

Lucas Girven had quite the day with an eagle (taking a three on the par-5 eighth hole), along with birdies on the par-5 12th, and the par-5 fifth hole.

VandeMark also had a birdie on the par-5 12th hole.
