NTL VOLLEYBALL: CANTON ROLLS PAST SAYRE (2024-09-19)

CANTON — Canton swept Sayre, 3-0, in NTL Small School volleyball action Thursday. The Warriors won the sets 25-20, 25-11, and 25-9.

Nevaeh Vroman had a double-double of 16 points, and 15 assists for Canton, along with seven digs, one kill, and one ace, as Kendall Kitchen also had a double-double of 22 digs and 26 points to go along with five aces, two kills, and an assist.

Addi Pepper notched 13 assists, six digs, two kills, and three points, with Cailyn VanNoy getting seven digs, eight points, five aces, and three kills.

Tara Gilbert had 11 kills, five points, and two digs, as MaKenna Seachrist had nine kills, three blocks, three points, one dig, and an ace.

Addy Cardona finished with three kills, Danah Wesneski had two, and Ally Marbaker added a dig.

Canton won the JV match 25-11 and 25-15.

Vroman had six aces, four assists, and a dig with Wesneski getting five kills, two assists, two digs, and two aces.

Emilia Pepper had four kills and three digs, Cardona notched eight kills, and one dig, and Ashley Valera finished with two kills and three digs.

Summer Route and Jerick Strozyk had four digs each.

Canton (3-5) hosts Williamson on Tuesday.
