WELLSBORO — Towanda boys’ soccer dropped an 8-0 match to Wellsboro during NTL action Saturday.

The league leading Hornets jumped out to a 3-0 halftime lead while adding five more after the break. Lucas Cuneo and David Seeling both had hat tricks for Wellsboro.

The Hornets out shot Towanda 17-2 and had a 10-3 edge in corner kicks. Blaiz Nichols made seven saves in net for the Knights.

Towanda (5-6) is at Meadowbrook Christian on Monday with a 4:30 p.m. start.
