NTL GOLF: CANTON'S SCHOONOVER SITS IN 4TH AFTER DAY OF D4 CHAMPIONSHIPS (2024-10-03)

WILLIAMSPORT — Canton’s Izzie Schoonover sits in fourth place after day one of the District IV, Class AA Girls’ Golf Championships on Thursday.

Schoonover finished with a plus-30 103, right behind Central Columbia’s Lauren Brosious, who shot plus-29 102.

MIfflinburg’s Addison Norton was leading with a plus-12 85, while Lourdes’ Vivian Reiprish shot a plus-24 97.

Schoonover had four pars on the day - the fourth hole, eighth hole, 12th hole, and 15th hole.

The second round of play will be at tee-off at 10 a.m. on Saturday back at Williamsport Country Club. The top three finishers for girls will earn a berth to the PIAA Championships.
