NTL GOLF: SMITH'S 86 LEADS WYALUSING AT FIRST DAY OF D4 CHAMPIONSHIPS (2024-10-03)

WILLIAMSPORT — Wyalusing’s Conner Smith shot an 86 to lead the Rams at the first day of the District IV, Class AA Boys Golf Championships Thursday.

Myles Kersher carded a plus-20 91, Lucas Girven shot a plus-25 96, and Hunter House had a plus-27 98.

Smith was tied for 10th overall and carded seven pars on the day. The top six qualify for the PIAA Championships.

Kershner was tied for 22 and had five pars, while Girven was tied for 33 with six pars. House had four pars as he was sitting in 38th.

The second round of play will be at tee-off at 10 a.m. on Saturday back at Williamsport Country Club.
