NTL VOLLEYBALL: NEB TOPS WILLIAMSON IN FOUR (2024-10-03)

TIOGA JUNCTION — NEB stayed unbeaten in match play on Thursday, as they defeated Williamson, 3-1, during NTL Small School volleyball action.

The Panthers won the first two sets 25-19 and 25-20, but the Warriors rallied for a 25-20 third set win.


NEB pulled away in the fourth set for a 25-6 victory to take the match.


For NEB Abby O’Connor had 20 kills, two aces, and two digs, while Toni Herb had a double-double of 18 digs and 11 kills to go with five aces.


Kelsea Moore had a double-double of 17 assists and 13 digs plus one kill, as Kiarra DeLancey had 24 digs, two assists, four kills, and two aces.


Zaelea Lane notched seven digs, 16 assists, one kill, and two aces, with Abby Chobot getting 11 digs, and six kills. Sayde Heines chipped in with one kill.


Williamson won the JV match 25-7 and 25-15.


Brianna Pelka had four kills and two digs for the Panthers as Jaylin Wheaton had five digs, and an ace.


Cheyenne Morgan and Olivia Reeves had five digs each, with Ella Cooley getting four digs and two assists.


Carlie Wheaton had a kill with a dig and an ace, as Madalyn Smith had three digs.


NEB hosts Wellsboro on Tuesday.
