NTL CROSS-COUNTRY: TROY BOYS 2ND AT BAXTER-MCDANIEL (2024-10-05)
Northern Tier Sports ReportCHENANGO VALLEY, N.Y. — The Troy boys cross-country team took second at the Baxter-McDaniel Invitational on Saturday.
They tied Ithaca with 98 points, but took second with the sixth runner tie-breaker. Horseheads won with 55 points.
Evan Geer (14:41) and Frank Harper (14:47) were fourth and fifth on the 4K course, with RJ Bellinger (15:58) taking 27th. Brody Campbell (16:06) was 30th, and Ben Osgood (16:09) took 32nd.
Sixth runner Mason Wulff (16:11) was 34th to bring home the silver.
On the girls’ side Troy’s Alyssa Parks (17:20) was third. Sheridan Wilcox ran 23:16 for 52nd, and Kalynn Keltz 24:53 took 64th.
