NTL GIRLS' SOCCER: TOWANDA COMES UP SHORT AGAINST WELLSBORO (2024-10-11)

TOWANDA — Towanda girls’ soccer fell to Wellsboro, 2-0, in NTL action Friday.

The Hornets scored a goal in both halves as Lily Wagner and Emily Benjamin both found the back of the net.

Towanda out shot Wellsboro 10-7 while Wellsboro had a 6-2 edge in corner kicks. 

My Maynard made four saves in net for Towanda.

The loss eliminates Towanda from postseason competition.
