NTL CROSS-COUNTRY: OVERALL RESULTS, AND MORE PHOTOS FROM NTLS (2024-10-12)

ROME — The overall varsity race results at the NTL Coaches’ Invitational.

Towanda (52) won the girls’ title followed by NEB (63), Wyalusing (79), Athens (93), Sullivan County (116), NP-Mansfield (131), and Wellsboro (141).


Wellsboro’s Lauren Kosek (18:36.7) won the race with Athens’ Sara Bronson (19:45.4) in second and Towanda’s Izzy Larson (20:01.4) in third.


Troy’s Alyssa Parks (20:20.4) was fourth and CV’s Natalie Yonker (20:40.1) rounded out the top five.


Wyalusing’s Megan King (21:09.8) took sixth, with Towanda’s Mary-Kate Eberlin (21:19.8) seventh, and NEB’s Anaiah Kolesar (21:42.5) eighth. 


Rounding out the top 10 were Towanda’s Kenzi Brown (21:52) and CV’s Torrina Stratton (21:54.9).


Sullivan County’s Zoey Reese (22:06) was 11th, NEB’s Sophie Bennett (22:11.8) took 12th, Athens’ Ava Hughes (22:26.9) came in 13th, Wyalusing’s Camryn Gesford (22:49.7) was 14th, and Sullivan County’s Paige Jordan (22:51.3) was 15th.


On the boys’ side NEB (49) won with Towanda (68) second, and Troy (86) third. They were followed by Athens (104), Canton (144), Wellsboro (162), NP-Mansfield (172), CV (175), and Sullivan County (218).


Athens’ Graham Wanck (16:15.1) edged out NEB’s Creed Dewing (16:15.2) at the end to win. 


Wellsboro’s Max Macias (17:04.8) was third, followed by NEB’s Ryan Jones (17:07.5), and NP-Mansfield’s James Knefley (17:15.8).


Canton’s Lawrence Halbfoerster (17:15.8) was sixth, followed by Towanda’s Boom Thompson (17:34.1). 


Rounding out the top 10 were Troy’s Evan Geer (17:38), NEB’s Jackson Martin (17:46.4), and Wyalusing’s Trennan Tewksbury (17:47.6).


Troy’s Frank Harper (17:49.2) was 11th, followed by Towanda’s Hagen Jones (17:49.4). 


Rounding out the top 15 were Athens’ Ethan Hicks (17:51.4), Towanda’s Jacob Carr (18:07.8), and fellow Knight Jack Tavani (18:15.5).
