NTL VOLLEYBALL: WYALUSING EDGES LEWISBURG IN 5-SET THRILLER (2024-10-17)

WYALUSING — Wyalusing won their second straight in a 3-2 thriller over Lewisburg during non-league volleyball action Thursday.

The Rams took the first set 25-17, with the Dragons winning the second set 25-14. Wyalusing came back with a 25-22 third set win, but Lewisburg refused to go away, winning the fourth set 25-18.

Wyalusing then took the match with a 15-9 final set victory.

Josie Ferris had a double-double of 25 assists and 17 digs to go with two aces, and a kill, as Emily Johns had eight kills, 10 digs, and six aces.

Avery Carr notched five kills, four aces, one block, and three digs, as Kylie Pickett had seven digs, four kills, two aces, and two assists.

Addison Fluck finished with three kills, three aces, two blocks, and two digs, while Alyssa Neagle had 10 kills and one dig.

Abbie Tuttle had nine digs with an assist, Kirra Millard finished with six digs, and an ace, Madalyn Broschart notched a kill with four digs, as Gabby Manahan had a kill.

SaEva Manahan had seven digs, Isabel McKeon finished with six digs, and Addi Vanderpool rounded things out with a dig.

Wyalusing won the JV match, too, 25-8, 25-6.

The Rams will travel to Loyalsock for two matches on Saturday.
