NTL VOLLEYBALL: TOWANDA COMES UP JUST SHORT AGAINST NPL (2024-10-17)

TOWANDA — Towanda took a set off NP-Liberty, but came up short, 3-1, during NTL volleyball action Thursday.

The Mounties won the first two sets 25-15 and 25-21, but the Lady Knights rallied for a 25-23 third set victory. NPL came back with a 25-21 win in the fourth set to take the match.


Karis Flynn had a double-double of 18 assists and 10 digs, while adding six points, three kills, and two blocks, as Brynsen Vargason had 18 digs and six kills.


Kaya Johnson finished with 13 points, four digs, three kills, and an ace, while Brooklyn Evans had 11 kills, five points, eight digs, three aces, and three blocks.


Alyssa Dulaney had 15 digs, seven points, one kill, and one ace, as Lariah Long notched 14 digs, seven points, two kills, and two aces.


Lillie Maynard had three digs, one kill, and one point with Caedence Wells adding four points, one dig, and one ace. Layla Miller chipped in with seven digs.


Towanda JV’s pulled out a close win, beating NPL 25-23 and 25-21.


Ali Hollett had 11 points, six digs, six assists, and four races, as London Decker had six points, four digs, two aces, and three kills.


Kylie Barnes had four kills, two blocks, and a dig, while Kendall Kellogg had six points, four digs, two aces, three kills, and an assist.


Hannah Crawford had four points, three kills, and an assist, with Nozila Ismailova getting a kill with three digs.


Mollie Roberts had a point with two digs, Alayna Rankin had two points with a dig, Reese Sullivan added four digs, and Layla Longcoy chipped in with two digs.


Towanda will travel to Hughesville on Monday.
