11/06/24 Towanda 46 vs North Penn Liberty 15 - GAME 1
Towanda junior high girls basketball traveled to NPL and picked up a 46-15 win. Taylor Aquilio and Mila Santiago led the way on offense with 16 and 12 points respectively. Maris Cobb and Kaylen Sluter each scored eight points with Rhyann Kithcart dropping a bucket for two points.
For NPL, Leila Garverick scored six points while Ruby Mack, Audrina Hoplano, and Scarlett Graham scored two points each.
11/06/24 Towanda 24 vs North Penn Liberty 15 - GAME 2
The second game of the night saw Towanda take a 24-15 win over NPL. Maci Alexander led the offensive charge for Towanda and scored 11 points. Lesley Parker knocked down a three-pointer and scored seven total. Anna Weaver scored four and Mia McKernan scored two points.
For NPL, Peyton Weatherby and Vicki McTish scored four points each. The trio of Colette Frey, Leila Garverick, and Scarlett Graham scored two points each. Ruby Mack swished a free throw for a point.
11/09/24 Towanda 35 vs Athens 16 - GAME 1
Taylor Aquilio led the way for Towanda with 19 points as they won 35-16 against Athens. Kaylen Sluyter played strong defensively and scored six points while Mila Santiago and Gemma Brown scored four points apiece. Secret Salsman scored a fastbreak layup for two points.
For Athens, Lexi Mayo dropped a three-pointer and scored nine points total. Olivia Frantz scored four points, Hailey Smith two points, and Billie Wenne sank a free throw for a point.
11/09/24 Athens 21 vs Towanda 16 - GAME 2
Athens spread the ball around and had eight girls get on the scoreboard to capture a 21-16 win over Towanda. Charlotte Rosh and Addison Glielmi scored four points each. Ariana Nelson scored three points. Ivy Brown, P. Williams, P. VanHausen, Sophia Brown, and Delaney Crane scored two points each.
Towanda saw Maci Alexander, Anna Weaver, and Johna Miller score four points apiece. Brielle Wright and Julia Parker each scored two points.
Towanda hosts Troy on Tuesday, travels to Wellsboro on Thursday, and hosts Canton on Saturday.
