TROY WINS A, TOWANDA WINS B IN JH HOOPS ACTION (2024-11-13)

Towanda JH boys’ hoops went 1-1 against Troy recently, with the A-team falling 32-13, but the B team winning 41-10.

Josiah Pesesky had 12 points to lead Troy with Darin Finan netting seven. Bernie Ayres notched six, Landon Cole had five with Sam Stafford adding two.

Gabe Wolf led Towanda with four points while Dempsey Stevens scored three. Harper Welles, Ryot Vester, and Joey Montanya had two points apiece.

In the B game Stevens had 12 points to lead Towanda as Scott Kjelgaard added seven. Jayden Ackley and Deegan Blumenauer had six points each, Ray Vanderwal and Brayden Cox both scored four, with Sidney Bacorn adding two.

Bennett had four points for Troy with Dean, Root, and Estep scoring two points apiece.
