BOYS’ BASKETBALL
Wyalusing (9-4) at CV (3-13), 6 p.m.: The Rams try to rebound from their loss to NP-Liberty last Saturday, as CV battles for the final playoff spot in the District IV, Class AA standings.
Towanda (3-10) at Troy (14-2), 6 p.m.: The magic number for Troy is two - in that they need just two more NTL wins in order to earn their first NTL title in over a decade. The Knights may have come up short lately, though they’ve played well in their last couple outings.
NP-Liberty (10-1) at NEB (8-7), 6 p.m.: The Mountaineers all but sewed up the NTL Division-II title with their win over Wyalusing Saturday. A victory against NEB should clinch them the win. The Panthers, though, have been hot as of late, beating Wellsboro, CV and Athens in their last three games.
GIRLS’ BASKETBALL
Wyalusing (9-4) at Athens (13-5), 6 p.m.: The Rams look to sweep the season series as both teams are battling for playoff position. Wyalusing is coming off back to back road wins on Saturday.
Loyalsock (15-2) at NEB (11-3), 5:30 p.m.: The Panthers get ready for district play as they face Loyalsock, who is currently second in the Class AAA standings for District IV. NEB comes into the week in fourth place for Class AA.
Troy (6-9) at Towanda (14-1), 5:30 p.m.: The Knights come into the week undefeated in the NTL and need two wins to clinch. The Trojans are coming off a win against CV as they try to move up the Class AAA standings.
NP-Liberty (4-7) at Canton (4-10), 6 p.m.: The Warriors look to finish their season strong as they host NPL for the first time. The Mountaineers are battling for a home playoff game in Class A.
