YOUTH: TROY HAS THREE MEDALIST AT MILTON'S JR HIGH WRESTLING TOURNAMENT (2024-12-16)

The Troy Junior High wrestling team had three medal winners at the Milton Tournament over the weekend. Hunter Watson (138) took first, with Eli Watson (87) and Thad Bellows (145) both taking seventh.

Hunter Watson went 4-0 on the day beating Lorson of South Williamport with a major decision 13-0, pinning Begley of Williamson in :55, decsisioned Livermore of Montgomery 5-4 and in the finals beat Jones of West Perry 13-0.

Eli Waston had a fall in 2:37 over Geary of Montgomery, he then lost by fall in 2:26 to Myers of Penns Valley Area, He was then lost by tech fall to Brobeck of Jersey Shore 20-4 and then decisioned Banker of Sullivan County 7-4 to take 7th.

Bellows pinned Kingsley of Athens in 1:07, Tech falled Harper of North Penn in 4:06, Lost to Ellison of Jersey Shore 13-6, major decisioned Moore of Canton 11-3, lost to Dupont of West Perry by fall in :56, and medical forfeit from Montonya of Towanda.
