NTL BOYS' BASKETBALL: WYALUSING FALLS AT SAYRE (2024-12-17)

SAYRE — Wyalusing couldn’t slowdown Sayre as they fell 66-37 in NTL boys’ basketball action Tuesday.

The Redskins jumped out to a 43-22 lead at the half.

Ashton VandeMark and Shay Gartland had six points each to lead the Rams, with Will McBride adding five points.

Jared VandeMark, Myles Kershner, and Aiden Neiley had four points apiece, as Owen Brown, and Hunter House both scored three. Tyler Caplan chipped in with two.

Nick Pellicano led Sayre with 25 points while Hudson Trump scored 16, and Ryan Ressely netted 13.

Sayre jumped out to a 21-14 lead behind 11 points from Pellicano, while Kershner led Wyalusing with four points.

After that the Redskins out scored Wyalusing 45-23 the rest of the way.

Wyalusing (0-5) will travel to Troy on Thursday.
