The "2024 Baker's Dozen Girls Newcomers of the Fall:"
Olivia Martinec, junior, Corning: See above.

Carys Barlett, junior, Wellsboro tennis: Barlett went 5-6 as the Lady Hornets’ No. 2 Singles player in her first season with the team.

Sophie Bennett, freshman, NEB cross country: Bennett was a constant in the top three for the Panthers, and a top-10 finisher at the District 4 Championships.

Delaney Billbe, 8th-grader, Elmira soccer: Billie was one of the best goalkeepers in the STAC. She had eight shutouts on the season and a handful of big saves every game for the Express, many of them game-changing or game-saving saves.

Sydney Blunt, sophomore, Horseheads soccer: Blunt had six goals and seven assists on the season. Fast and athletic she scored goals to beat the two top teams in the division.

Kenzie Brown, freshman, Towanda cross-country: Brown was a consistent top three finisher for the Knights all season, and a big reason for their undefeated NTL title.

Claire Dominick, sophomore, North Penn-Liberty volleyball: Dominick had 144 kills, 201 service points, 64 aces, 301 digs and 13 assists to help the Mountaineers to a 13-8 record.

Mary-Kate Eberlin, freshman, Towanda cross-country: Eberlin was the top freshman in Bradford County, running second most of the season for the league champion Knights, and taking seventh at the NTL Championships.

Zaelea Lane, senior, NEB volleyball:
Lane became a regular in her senior year, being a consistent contributor defensively, and as a setter, for the league and District 4 champions.

Lilly Mezzatesta, junior, Tioga volleyball: Mezzatesta, who got a taste of varsity play last year in Tioga's run to the Section IV championship game appearance, did a little of everything for the Tigers. She was effective at the service line, was a presence at the net, played defense, and set on occasion.

Kyah Renzo, freshman, Troy soccer: Renzo started in the mid-field for the NTL champion Trojans, and fit right in during their undefeated league season.

Alissa Vough, freshman, Athens cross country:
Vough had a strong regular season, including several top-10 finishes, and had an impressive 18th-place finish at the prestigious McQuaid Invitational. She finished 23rd at the District 4, Class AA Championships.

Natalie Yonker, freshman, Cowanesque Valley cross country:
Yonker just missed the medal stand at the PIAA Cross Country Championships, taking 33rd in the Class AA  race in 20:31. She missed a medal by 30 seconds and was the third highest freshman finisher in the race.
