NTL GIRLS' BASKETBALL: FOUR HIT DOUBLE FIGURES AS WYALUSING ROLLS PAST SAYRE (2025-01-06)

WYALUSING — Wyalusing rolled to a 63-21 win over Sayre during NTL girls’ basketball action Monday.

The Rams out scored Sayre 25-6 in the first quarter, and 22-3 in the second to build a 46-9 lead at the half en route to the win.

Chloe Bennett led Wyalusing with 12 points, with Alysha Botts, Treanna Nickeson, and Rachel Wilson netting 10 points apiece.

Emily Johns notched eight, Liz Kilmer scored seven, Callee Warner had three, Camryn Gesford added two, and Emily Fowler chipped in with one.

Bennett hit two 3-balls in the opening quarter as she paced the Rams with eight points, while Nickeson chipped in with six.

Seven different Wyalusing players scored in the second quarter, led by six points from Wilson.

Wyalusing (5-5) travels to Wellsboro on Wednesday.
