CANTON — Canton survived a 19-point fourth quarter rally by North Rome Christian School to pick up a non-league girls’ basketball win 35-34 Wednesday.

The Warriors built a 31-15 lead going into the final frame.

Emmie Tymeson had eight points to lead the Warriors as Reagan Kelley finished with six. Aislyn Williams notched five, Courteney Weiskopft added four with Gracie Mead hitting a 3-pointer.

Molly Ward, Jazmyn Hickock and Alexis Baldwin had two points apiece.

Sarah Mosher led NRCS with 12 points as Destiney Middaugh netted nine. Abby Winward scored seven, Marion Beers had four and Saydie Cubbedge chipped in with two.
