NTL GIRLS' BASKETBALL: MAYNARD SCORES CAREER HIGH AS NEB ROLLS PAST ST. JOHN NEUMANN (2025-01-06)
Northern Tier Sports ReportROME — NEB rolled past St. John Neumann, 67-29, during non-league girls’ basketball action Friday.
NEB led 50-18 at the half as they saw three different players scored 15 points or more.
Lillie Maynard had a career high 20 points to go with eight steals to lead the Panthers, while Leah Beebe had 16 points on four 3-balls, while adding five steals, and four assists.
Becca VanDeMark notched 15 points, five boards, and two steals, while Lilah Hughes had eight points, 10 boards, and two steals.
Mallorie Maynard came away with four points, and two steals, as Kara Dughi, and Aurelia Kolesar netted two points apiece.
Kallee Johnson led Neumann with 12 points.
The Panthers jumped out to a 25-11 first quarter lead behind eight points each from Lillie Maynard and Beebe.
Lillie Maynard then went off for 10 points in the second quarter, as VandeMark chipped in with eight, as they built the 32 point halftime lead.
NEB (6-2) hosts Canton on Wednesday.
