NTL WRESTLING: TOWANDA TOO MUCH FOR NEB (2025-01-07)
Northern Tier Sports ReportROME — Towanda won the first nine matches as they rolled past NEB, 57-12, during NTL dual match action Tuesday.
Hagen Jones (127) opened things up with a forfeit. After a double forfeit at 133, Gage Evans (139) scored a fall for the Knights.
Reese Sluyter (145) followed with a technical fall, then Riley Vanderpool (152) scored a forfeit. Rylee Sluyter (160) added a 15-3 major decision over Kale Howland.
Towanda then got four straight falls out of Chase Geurin (172), Zach Lantz (189), Sawyer Robinson (215), and Mason Higley (285).
Mason Alexander (107) got a fall to get NEB on the scoreboard. The two teams then traded forfeits with Towanda’s Jayden Stranger (114), followed by Panther Hunter Comstock (121).
Towanda is at Central Columbia on Wednesday, while NEB travels to Williamson.
