NTL BOYS' BASKETBALL: WYALUSING FALLS TO NP-MANSFIELD (2025-01-09)

WYALUSING — Wyalusing fell to NP-Mansfield, 65-35, during NTL boys’ basketball action Thursday.

NPM jumped out to a 24-12 first quarter lead, then scored 18 more points in the second to go up 42-22 at the half. They netted 21 more in the third to secure the win.

Aiden Neiley had seven points to lead the Rams, with Shay Gartland netting six. 

Ashton VandeMark, Zabiah Walton, and Will McBride scored five points apiece, with Tyler Caplan netting four. 

Hunter House chipped in with three.

NPM saw five different players get in double figures as Alex Davis, and Brody Stetter had 13 points each.

In the opening frame Walton and House hit 3-balls but Cooper Shaw and Davis had seven points each for the Tigers to build the double digit lead.

In the second they held the Rams to 10 points as Tayton Strange, and Andy Hermansen had five points each.

Stetter went off for nine points in the third as NPM out scored Wyalusing 21-5.

The Rams did win the fourth quarter, 8-2, with Neiley netting four.

Wyalusing (1-8) is at Athens next Tuesday.
