NTL GIRLS' BASKETBALL: NEB PULLS AWAY FROM WILLIAMSON (2025-01-18)

ROME — NEB won their sixth straight as they rolled past Williamson, 71-42, during NTL girls’ basketball action Friday.

The Panthers led 28-14 at the half, then scored 28 in the third to pull away.


Lillie Maynard had 18 points, six boards, six steals, and six assists for NEB, as Leah Beebe netted 17 points to go with five boards, six steals, and five assists.


Kara Dughi had 12 points, with Lilah Hughes getting eight points, four boards, and four steals.


Mallorie Maynard notched six points, 11 boards, and five steals, as Becca VandeMark had six points, seven rebounds, and four steals.


Aurelia Kolesar chipped in with four points, as well.


Olivia Meisner netted 20 to lead Williamson.


Beebe had seven points to lead the first quarter effort for the Panthers as they allowed just one field goal. She netted five more in the second, but Meisner had six for Williamson as they tried to stay in touch.


In the third NEB scored 11 field goals as Lillie Maynard had eight to lead the way, putting NEB up 56-30. 


NEB (10-2) hosts NP-Mansfield on Tuesday.
