AOW: NEB'S WILKS, TOWANDA'S WOODRUFF POST BIG WEEKS (2025-01-19)

It was another exciting week, with performances heating up even as it grows cold outside. There were exciting contests on the court and mats, milestones reached, and league championships being narrowed down.

On the boys’ side NEB’s Clay Wilks had one of the best weeks a freshman could have in his first starts, averaging 20.3 PPG, and 12.7 RPG as the Panthers went 3-0, earning him the Male Athlete of the Week honors.

For the girls Towanda’s Brynn Woodruff averaged 18.7 PPG this week as the Knights went 3-0, including 27 in a win over NPM, and 16 in their win at Wyalusing, earning her the Female Athlete of the Week honors.
