NTL GIRLS' BASKETBALL: TROY'S HOT SHOOTING LEADS THEM PAST SAYRE (2025-01-22)

TROY — Troy celebrated their seniors with a 75-20 win over Sayre during NTL girls’ basketball action Tuesday.

The Trojans jumped out to a 30-8 first quarter lead and never looked back as they hit 10 3-pointers on the day.

Alyssa Parks had 20 points to lead Troy, as Kailyn Sterling finished with 14. 

Gloria Andrews notched 11, Raelyn Woodward finished with eight, as Giana Renzi, and Madelyn Seeley had seven points apiece. 

Ella VanNoy added five, with Kyah Renzo scoring three.

Troy’s offense was firing on all cylinders in the first quarter  with Parks netting eight points, Seeley had seven, and Sterling added six.

They out scored the Lady ‘Skins 19-6 in the second quarter as the team hit five 3-balls, two from Andrews, to take the 49-14 lead into the locker rooms.

They out scored Sayre 26-6 in the second half as Parks led the way with seven.

Troy (10-4) will travel to Williamson on Thursday.
