NTL GIRLS' BASKETBALL: WYALUSING DOWNS WILLIAMSON ON THE ROAD (2025-01-22)

TIOGA JUNCTION — Wyalusing used a big half to down Williamson, 64-40, during NTL girls’ basketball action Tuesday.

The Rams led 14-8 after one, then scored 20 second quarter points to take a 34-16 lead at the break. 


Williamson battled back with 17 points in the third quarter, but the Rams held them to just seven in the fourth to secure the win.


Emily Johns had 16 points on 8-for-15 shooting to go with eight boards, as Chloe Bennett finished with 18 points, three assists, and three steals.


Alysha Botts had 13 points, four boards, three assists, and three steals, with Rachel Wilson getting six points, to go with 15 boards.


Treanna Nickeson had six points, four boards, three steals, and three assists, with Emily Fowler scoring three, and Liz Kilmer adding two.


Olivia Meisner had 16 to lead Williamson


Bennett started hot for Wyalusing, netting eight first quarter points to put them up by six.


In the second Benentt added eight more, while Botts had seven as they took the double digit lead into the locker rooms.


The Warriors came back with seven field goals in the third quarter to win the frame 17-16, but Johns came on strong for Wyalusing with six points.


She added eight more in the fourth, while Nickeson scored all six of her points in that frame, to nail down the win.


Wyalusing (9-6) will host NP-Liberty on Thursday with a 6 p.m. start.
