NTL WRESTLING: WYALUSING HAS THREE STILL ALIVE IN THE CONSOLATIONS AT ULTIMATE WARRIOR (2025-01-24)
Northern Tier Sports ReportMORRISDALE — Wyalusing had three wrestlers still alive in the consolations at the Ultimate Warrior Wrestling Tournament Friday.
Ayden Hunsinger (160), Cole Patrick (139), and Isaiah Harvey (114) were all still going as Hunsinger and Harvey both went 3-1, while Patrick went 2-1.
Hunsinger won his first three matches - two by fall, one 7-0 - then lost 4-1 in the quarterfinals. Patrick won his first two matches - a tech fall, and a 12-2 major - but then lost in the quarters.
Harvey got a pin in his first match, but then lost 7-6 in his second. He scored back to back falls coming through the consolations to stay alive.
Bostyn McMicken (127), Ethan Vanderpool (189), Jackson Fischer (133), Jonathan Earle (152), and Reuben Kinney (145) all went out on the first day.
Earle went 2-2, McMicken went 1-2, with Vanderpool, Kinney, and Fischer all going 0-2.
