NTL GIRLS' BASKETBALL: WILSON LEADS WYALUSING PAST WELLSBORO (2025-02-04)

WYALUSING — Wyalusing started fast as they rolled to a 58-35 win over Wellsboro during NTL girls’ hoops action Tuesday.

The Rams led 15-7 after one, and kept rolling as they took leads of 29-15 at the half, and 43-20 after three quarters.

Rachel Wilson had a double-double of 15 points, and 12 boards, for Wyalusing, as Alysha Botts added 12 points, four steals, and three assists.

Chloe Bennett finished with nine points, five assists, and four steals, with Emily Johns getting six points, and eight rebounds.

Emily Fowler added six points, Treanna Nickeson scored five, Liz Kilmer added three, and Taydia Gardner added two.

Chloe Brandenburg, and Paige Logsdon had 12 points each for Wellsboro.

Five different players scored for Wyalusing in the opening frame to give them the eight point lead. Wilson went off for seven points in the second as they nearly doubled up the Hornets.

Wilson added eight more points in the third quarter as they secured the win.

Wyalusing (12-8) hosts NP-Mansfield on Friday for their regular season home finale.
