NTL BOYS' BASKETBALL: WYALUSING FALLS ON THE ROAD AT WELLSBORO (2025-02-06)

WELLSBORO — Wyalusing fell to Wellsboro, 61-29, during NTL boys’ hoops action Wednesday.

The Hornets jumped out to a 25-9 lead in the opening frame en route to the win.

Shay Gartland led Wyalusing with seven points, as Tyler Caplan, and Jared VandeMark finished with four points apiece.

Ashton VandeMark, and Hunter House both scored three points, with Myles Kershner, Parker Cunningham, Zibiah Walton, and Will McBride all scored two points.

Gartland scored four in the first quarter to lead the Rams, while they added 11 more in the second quarter, but saw the lead balloon to 40-20.

Wyalusing won the JV game 44-20 as Cunningham had eight to lead the Rams.

Wyalusing (2-16) travels to NP-Mansfield on Friday.
