NTL BOYS' BASKETBALL: TOWANDA ROLLS PAST WILLIAMSON TO WIN REGULAR SEASON FINALE (2025-02-11)
Northern Tier Sports ReportTOWANDA — Towanda ended the regular season with a 69-23 win over Williamson during NTL boys’ hoops action Tuesday.
The Knights jumped out to a 22-7 first quarter lead and never looked back.
Senior Connor Barnes led the way with 15 points, as Darrius Farrell added 13. Markell Garner scored 12, with Graham Welles hitting two 3-balls to net six.
Boom Thompson finished with five, as Bayley Poll added three, and Ben Schrawder finished with two.
Towanda hit 10 3-balls on the night.
Jack Nolan led Williamson with 17.
Barnes scored 13 of his 15 points in the opening quarter while Poll, Clark, and Thompson all hit 3-pointers.
Towanda added 13 more points in the second behind four from Clark and Garner as they took a 35-9 lead at the half.
Farrell went off for 11 points the third as the Knights built a 55-15 lead.
Towanda (13-9) likely nails down the seventh spot in the district playoffs with the win, and will see whether they get Warrior Run or NP-Mansfield in the first round.
