NTL GIRLS' SOCCER: TOWANDA'S DUNN TO LACE THEM UP FOR MORAVIAN (2025-02-21)
BY CHRIS MANNINGNorthern Tier Sports ReportTOWANDA — Towanda’s Anna Dunn has been a stalwart for the Lady Knights on the soccer pitch, but starting this fall she’ll be suiting up for Moravian University.
“I’m so excited,” Dunn remarked. “It’s the perfect school for me. It checked off all my boxes academically, and with sports.”
The senior was drawn to the team’s culture.
“There team is really close knit, and their coach is involved in everything they do, even outside of soccer,” explained Dunn. “He gets the team together to do different things. They have a good program, and their facilities are really nice.”
Dunn has played all over the field for Towanda in her four years, but she plans on being a forward next fall.
“I feel more confident playing forward,” she remarked. “That’s a plus of going to Moravian as I know that I’ll be playing in the spot that I’m most comfortable on.”
