NTL WRESTLING: NEB'S WRESTLERS FALL INTO DISTRICT CONSOLATIONS (2025-02-22)

WILLIAMSPORT — All three of NEB’s wrestlers fell into the consolations at the first day of the District IV, Class AA Championships Friday.

Mason Alexander (107) opened with an 18-2 first round tech fall win, but then lost 15-5 in the quarterfinals. He gets a familiar foe in Canton’s Levi Vermilya in the elimination round Saturday morning.

Kale Howland (160) lost a 17-1 tech fall match in the quarters, as he’ll wrestle Montgomery’s Reidon Felix in the elimination round. 

NEB’s Russell Martin (145) was pinned in 42 seconds in his preliminary match. He gets Hughesville’s Kile Hartman in the elimination round.

Wrestling begins at 9 a.m. on Saturday.
