It’s opening day for NTL teams this week, and it looks like Mother Nature is going to be kind, with May-like warmth for the middle of the week.

BASEBALL

Tuesday, March 18

Sayre at Canton, 4:30 p.m.: The Warriors start their NTL Small School title defense with the team owned it before them.

Wellsboro at Troy, 4:30 p.m.: The Trojans welcome Wellsboro as they start their NTL Large School title defense.

Wyalusing at NP-Mansfield, 4:30 p.m.: The new look Rams hit the road as they head out to Tioga County to start the season.

Thursday, March 20

CV at Canton, 4:30 p.m.: The Warriors go from one tough game to another as they welcome the Indians mid-week.

Troy at Athens, 4:30 p.m.: A big divisional match-up for the Trojans as they hit the road.

Wyalusing at Towanda, 4:30 p.m.: The rivalry tilt will resume at Wysox Ball Field.

Saturday, March 22

Wyalusing at Elk Lake, 4:30 p.m.: The Rams’ busy early season schedule continues with their third game in five days.

SOFTBALL

Tuesday, March 18

Sayre at Canton, 4:30 p.m.: The Warriors open the season at home in this divisional tilt.

Wyalusing at NP-Liberty, 4:30 p.m.: A big early season test for the Rams as they travel to the defending NTL Large School champions.

NEB at CV, 4:30 p.m.: NEB has a big test early as they hit the road against the NTL Small School defending champions.

Thursday, March 20

Troy at Athens, 4:30 p.m.: A big season opener for the Lady Trojans against a tough Athens team.

Wyalusing at Towanda, 4:30 p.m.: Their two meetings last year were a blow out and thriller, so anything can happen in this rivalry.

NEB at Williamson, 4:30 p.m.: NEB heads back to Tioga County against a Warriors squad that made districts last year.

Friday, March 21

CV at Canton, 4:30 p.m.: The Warriors welcome the defending NTL Small School champions.

Wellsboro at Troy, 4:30 p.m.: The Trojans’ home opener as they face an improving Hornets team.

Saturday, March 22

Towanda at Athens, 1 p.m.: An important early season divisional game for the Knights.

NEB at Sayre, 4:30 p.m.: The third straight road game for NEB as they play their third game in five days.

Towanda at NP-Liberty, 4 p.m.: The Knights hit the road to open their season.
