FOUR AREA POWERLIFTERS EARN GOLDS AT RAMS' (2025-03-17)

BLOOMSBURG — Four area power lifters competed at the Ram’s Power Day competition over the weekend.

Abby Keeney, Hannah Burger, and Steve Burger all came from NEB, while Bentley Curtis lifted for Troy.

Keeney won first place in her category for bench press (85), and deadlift (245), while Steve Burger was first in bench press (125), and deadlift (325), as well.

Curtis brought home two golds, too, taking first in bench press (140), and in deadlift (245).

Hannah Burger was first in the deadlift (340), and third in bench press (105). 

Over 90 lifters competed from Athens, Bloomsburg, Benton, Berwick, CMVT, Central York, Dover, Nescopeck, Selinsgrove, Shamokin, Shikellamy, Southern Columbia, and Wellsboro.
