PHILADELPHIA — Troy graduate Sheldon Seymour finished in sixth at the NCAA Division-I Wrestling Championships Saturday to earn All-American status.

Seymour, wrestling for Lehigh, lost his consolation semifinal to Purdue’s Matt Ramos 9-2, then fell 11-4 to Virginia Tech’s Eddie Ventresca in the fifth place match.

Seymour is the first NTL wrestler since 1991 to be a Division-I All-American.
