NTL TRACK & FIELD: NEB BOYS EKE TRI-MEET SWEEP OVER TOWANDA, CANTON (2025-03-25)

TOWANDA — The Northeast Bradford boys’ track and field eked out a tri-meet sweep over Towanda, and Canton on Tuesday. The Panthers finished with 69 points, followed by the Knights (61), and then the Warriors (58).

NEB’s 4x800 relay won in 9:23.41, followed by Canton (9:47.41), and Towanda (10:31.63).


Canton swept the 110 hurdles with Thomas Guindon (19.25), and Monte Whitehead (19.47).


In the 100 Towanda’s Jazick Brown (11.47) won, followed by Canton’s Aiden Petrowski (12.09), and NEB’s Gavin Puza (12.19).


Canton’s Lawrence Halbfoerster (5:02.44) won the 1600 with NEB’s Ryan Jones (5:15.38), and Jackson Martin (5:23.63) second and third.


Towanda’s 4x100 relay won in 47.55, as Canton (49.35) was second.


NEB’s Daniel Barrett (58.03) won the 400 followed by teammate Tyler Kuhn (59.10), and Canton’s Joshua Hess (1:00.04).


Canton’s Simon Wile (49.49) won the 300 hurdles, followed by Guindon (49.50), and Whitehead (52.06).


NEB’s Brayden Miller (2:14.63) won the 800 as Halbfoerster (2:16.72) was second, and NEB’s Brody Bennett came in third.


Brown (23.85) won the 200, with Petrowski (25.06) second, and Towanda’s Brennick Lain (26.38) third.


NEB’s Creed Dewing (11:04.1) won the 3200, with Jones (11:23.37) second, and Towanda’s Jacob Carr (11:58.30) third.


NEB won the 4x400 relay in 3:49.60, as Towanda (3:57) was second, and Canton (4:04.25) came in third.


Canton’s Rylan Wesneski (114-feet, 9-inches), and Wyatt Hilton (113-feet, 6-inches) went 1-2 in the javelin, as Towanda’s Domonik Miller (112-feet) came in third.


Towanda’s Varrius Farrell (121-feet, 8-inches) won the discus followed by teammate Jason Valdes (117-feet, 1-inches), with NEB’s Lex Cragle (106-feet, 1/2-inch) third.


Farrell (44-feet, 7-inches) won the shot put as Hilton (36-feet, 9-inches) was second, and NEB’s Ben Ellis (35-feet) came in third.


Towanda’s Jace Gunther (9-feet, 6-inches) won the pole vault, with Lain (8-feet, 6-inches) second, and Tanner Vanderpool (8-feet) third.


Towanda’s Kole Heyer (5-feet, 8-inches) won the high jump with Puza (5-feet, 4-inches), second, and Towanda’s Tahshon Garner (5-feet, 2-inches) second.


Barrett (15-feet, 5-inches) won the long jump, as Wile (15-feet, 1/2-inch) was second, and NEB’s Eddie Eastman (15-feet) came in third.


Towanda’s Calogero Mignano (33-feet, 8-inches) won the triple jump, followed by Barrett (33-feet, 7 1/2-inches), and Eastman (31-feet, 8-inches).
