NTL TRACK & FIELD: NEB GIRLS WIN TRI-MEET, BOYS TAKE THIRD (2025-04-15)

Northern Tier Sports Report
CANTON — The NEB girls edged out Canton and NP-Mansfield to take the NTL tri-meet on Tuesday. The Panthers scored 63 points, followed by the Warriors (60), and the Tigers (52).

NP-Mansfield (87) won the boys’ side with Canton (46) second, and NEB (44) third.


The NEB girls’ 4x800 won in 11:49.2.


The Panthers swept the 100 hurdles with Mallorie Maynard (17.8), Kayah Frasier (18.1), and Amelia Kapr (18.4).


NEB’s Lillie Maynard (13.2) was second in the 100, with teammates Sophie Bennett (6:31.1), and Anyely Reyes-Farjardo (6:49.9) second and third in the 1600.


The NEB (57.2) 4x100 relay came in third.


Lillie Maynard (1:08.1) won the 400, while Mallorie Maynard (54.9) won the 300 hurdles as Kapr (55.9) came in third.


NEB’s Anaiah Kolesar (2:38.3) won the 800, as Bennett (13.45.6), and teammate Sarah Gray (16:23) went 1-2 in the 3200.


NEB’s Cora Franklin (27-feet, 2-inches) came in third in the shot put, and took second in the discus at 81-feet.


NEB’s Abby O’Connor (74-feet, 1-inch) won the javelin, Frasier (13-feet, 7 1/2-inches) was third in the long jump. 


For the boys NEB (9:00.9) won the 4x800, as Ryan Jones (5:07.5) was second in the 1600. 


The Panther 4x100 (48.5) was second, with Creed Dewing (54.3) winning the 400.


Brayden Miller (2:23.5) took second in the 800 as Jones (10:53.6) was second in the 3200 followed by teammate Jackson Martin (11:31.5).


NEB won the 4x400 in 3:49.6, and Panther Lex Cragle (116-feet) won the discus. 


NEB’s Daniel Barrett (35-feet, 11 1/2-inches) won the triple jump, as teammate Ed Eastman (34-feet, 2-inches) came in third.
