NTL SOFTBALL: NEB FALLS AT STATE POWER SOUTH WILLIAMSPORT (2025-04-17)

SOUTH WILLIAMSPORT — NEB softball fell 11-0 in five innings to South Williamsport during non-league action Thursday.

South pitcher Alizabeth Schuler tossed a 1-hit, no walk shutout, striking out eight in the contest.

The Mounties scored in every inning, beginning with two in the first. They added six more in the second, two more in the third, and finally one in the fourth.

Orissa Gardner (1-for-2) had the lone Panther hit.

Kelsea Moore started, going 2 2/3-innings with two strikeouts, one walk, seven hits, and eight runs, while McKenna Callear tossed the final 2 1/3-innings with one strikeout, one walk, four hits, and three runs.

NEB (6-4) hosts Athens on Tuesday.
