Northern Tier Sports ReportNORTH POCONO — Towanda’s Brynn Woodruff re-broke her school record in the javelin at the Walter J. Godek Twilight Invitational Thursday.
Woodruff threw 132-feet, 3-inches, nearly 10 feet more than her old record, to take first in the event.
Marin Maynard was sixth in the pole vault (9-feet, 6-inches), with Mya Maynard taking eighth in the discus (93-feet, 10-inches).
Kennedy Heyer and Natalyn Morris tied for sixth in the high jump at 4-feet, 8-inches.
On the boys’ side Varrius Farrell was second in the shot put (49-feet, 5 1/4-inches), and fourth in the discus (148-feet).
Wyatt Stranger took sixth in the pole vault in 11-feet, with Jazick Brown taking eighth in the 400 in 53.01.
