NTL TRACK & FIELD: WYALUSING BOYS, GIRLS THIRD IN NTL QUAD MEET (2025-04-23)

Northern Tier Sports Report
ATHENS — Wyalusing track and field earned a pair of third place finishes at an NTL quad meet Tuesday.

On the boys’ side Athens (95) nipped Troy (89), with Wyalusing (60) and Sayre (22) finishing out the scoring.


For the girls Athens (110) pulled away from Troy (77), Wyalusing (69), and Sayre (10).


On the boys’ side Ayden Hunsinger (11.94) was third in the 100, while Aiden Neiley (2:11) took second in the 800.


James Rogan won the 110 hurdles (16.55) and the 300 hurdles (43.13) with Dylan Johns (5-feet, 10-inches) third in the high jump.


Zibiah Walton (19-feet, 10-inches) was third in the long jump. Tyler Caplan (40-feet, 2-inches) and Walton (39-feet, 5 1/4-inches) were second and third in the triple jump.


Jonathan Earle (11-feet) won the pole vault with Joshua Palfreyman (116-feet, 5-inches) third in the discus. 


On the girls’ side Vayda Rought (13.68) was second in the 100 with Carole Scarborough (1:08.22) second in the 400.


Riley Porter was third in the 1600 (6:21.05) and second in the 3200 (14:28.31). The Rams won the 4x100 (53.39).


Abby Trowbridge won the long jump (15-feet, 4-inches) and was third in the high jump (4-feet, 8-inches). Rought was second in the long jump in 14-feet, 11 1/2-inches.


Alyssa Neagle was second in the triple jump in 30-feet, 7 1/2-inches.


Gabrielle Palfreyman won the discus in 92-feet, 9-inches and the shot put in 33-feet, 5-inches. Sierra Gromley (28-feet, 8 1/4-inches) was third in the shot put, with Addi Vanderpool (81-feet, 11-inches) third in the javelin.
